From Idea to Impact: The Journey

In 2025, we set out on a mission to design a functional, stylish cap engineered specifically with a precision-cut aperture for the sun-a-wear UV sensor. But we didn't want to do it alone.

We partnered with three inspiring melanoma survivors and skin safety advocates—Brittanny, Leah, and Katie—to co-create a collection that combines smart sun-tracking tech with meaningful, daily inspiration.

After months of design, testing, and collaboration, we officially launched the collection in May 2026 to honor Skin Cancer & Melanoma Awareness Month. Every cap tells a story, and every single purchase contributes directly to life-saving research.

  • Radiate Positivity

    A Stage 3A Melanoma survivor, Brittanny (@beingbrittanny) turned the solitude of 18 rounds of immunotherapy into a global community. Today, she uses honesty and humor to remind everyone that it’s okay to laugh, thrive, and find joy after cancer.

    The Radiate Positivity Cap was built as a tribute to turning hardship into light, reminding you that your energy shines far brighter than any UV index.

    Diagnosed at 25 and surviving Stage IV metastatic melanoma after 18 surgeries and a prognosis of only weeks to live, Katie (@my_melanoma_world) is a powerhouse advocate. Founder of @stopmelanomamovement, she uses her story to bust myths, educate on early detection, and prove that melanoma doesn't define your future.

    The Stay Shady Cap was built for everyday protection and resilience, reminding us that staying safe in the sun is a daily badge of strength and survival.
